Vernay Movers conducted an in home estimate in mid April of 2015 at our home in Sussex County NJ. We just listed the home and were relocating to Florida. The owner indicated that Vernay is continually making trips to Florida. By the end of April, I gave Vernay a projected closing date of June 15th. Before Memorial Day,I advised them we would be closing on June 12th and gave them the dates of June 8th-June 11th for the physical move. A few days later I was advised by the owner, after much persistence on my end, that they couldn't help us. Not sure why she even bothered to do the estimate. She indicated that the group in Florida couldn't coordinate our move. We had to scramble to get another moving company which ended up costing us at least $2000.00 more. Maybe Vernay is good for a local move but obviously they leave a lot to be desired when looking at a long distance move!
Evelyn Vernay and her staff are amazing. She is knowledgeable, kind and professional. I was quoted a very fair price, had a difficult move, used her twice and would never go anywhere else. Her communications are clear, concise and timely. They took great care of my belongings, were professional and worked very hard. I would recommend Vernay Movers to anyone who needs a great service provider. No one is better!
Something like bed rails for my sons bed Showed up missing as I saw them out of storage and packed them in that bin to carry stuff to truck as everything was in a storage unit. I called and told them and they do not return calls. I had to keep calling then the owner I heard she is. Was yelling at me in the phone. I'm very upset as this was a gift to my son from great grandparents and this could of been a bed who could of used later. Now I have to buy something to get bed together like rails and now even a box spring. Very very upset and they will not make up for anything. Just horrible.. Never use them again. Very dissatisfy. Big zero. Not even a star
